Congratulations to Nicole Borel, Enrique Rayo and The Chlamydia Research Group team at the IVPZ! Their SNSF grant has been awarded for the project «Investigating the Rectal Microbiome in Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Infections: A Culturomics Perspective (ChlaGoNomics)», which explores the rectal microbiome’s role in sexually transmitted infections and antimicrobial resistance.
This innovative research strengthens UZH’s One Health strategy and enhances the institute’s international visibility.
